Question

How does this little baby...
(David 9 months old)

Become this little man...
(David 3 1/2 years old)

So quickly?!?

He is a joy and we love him to pieces!!!

*I am working on Easter pics and such. Life is in a certain busy season and it doesn't help that we now live in a vacation spot... the beach is so fun and provides much outdoor time! We are enjoying our family time and seeing lives changed through Wellspring.

Thought you'd like to see...

... a picture of my new niece or nephew!!! Ha, bet I fooled a few of you :)! I am so excited for my little sister, Brittany, and her hubby Matt, they are expecting this cute little peanut on November 16th! Now, the waiting begins... will they complete the "back-ets ball" (as David would say) team that my dad has his hopes up for? Or will this precious baby be the first little girl? Either way, we are so happy that God has blessed them and will be praying for a healthy baby!

I love him...

and happy to say "Happy Anniversary" to my sweet husband of 6 years! We were talking the other night and we both said in some ways we can't believe we've been married for 6 years and in other ways we can... since we have 2 active little boys, sure it feels like we've been married for a while but the part that I am amazed by is that I TRULY love Trey more everyday. This past year has stretched us, molded us, allowed us to see each other in another "phase" of God's plan for us and I can say I have never been more in love with Trey. God's calling on his life is real, he is devoted to it, and I count it a blessing to be a part of it all! We just had an amazing day at Wellspring Church and I am thrilled to see what God will continue to do through my wonderful husband. Thank you for loving me and for giving me 6 incredible years of marriage!

Preacher's Wife

So, I am VERY new to this roll of being a "Preacher's Wife". I LOVE it and signed up for it when I married my incredible husband. And, like most things in life, I figured I'd have it all figured out by the time God placed us where we were suppose to be in a church. HA! I never knew we would be "church planters" (read: starting a new church from scratch, just the 2 of us). I never knew how incredible it would be to see my husband connect with Christ in such a real way that He actually gave Trey a vision for a church specifically designed for Myrtle Beach, SC. I never knew really cool people would move from across the country to partner with us, supporting a vision they know God designed. I never knew we would see lives changed in our living room on Sunday mornings as we build our launch team. Because it is ALL more than I could have ever hoped or imagined!!! As we approach Easter, we are experiencing something else I never knew, but am finding is common with those involved in ministry. You can read all about if from a GREAT "Preacher's Wife", Holly Furtick. Really, her blog is wonderful so read it...

The Preacher's Wife

I want to encourage you, if you are involved in a church somewhere, PRAY for your pastors and leaders. If you are in the ministry, PRAY for protection and soak up time with God. We are seeing God do amazing things here on the Grand Strand and are running full force into this upcoming season with our dukes up!
