So much to say...

but I have no time. So I'll just post some pictures of my little man because I don't want to forget a single detail about his precious self at this age!

Bayler's CaringBridge Page

Just wanted to let everyone know that Bayler has a CaringBridge page now. He might be able to come home for a night or two before he starts his first treatment, which will require him to be back in the hospital. Thank you again for all your thoughts and prayers. Our family has been blown away by the amount of prayers and support. We are humbled and thank you so much. We are staying strong and believing God is in control.

Stage 4, Neuroblastoma

First of all, thank you for caring so much about precious Bayler. Your prayers mean a lot to our family. The test results were not great and after a bone marrow withdraw, they grew even more grim. His cancer is in stage 4 and the doctors will begin treatment on Monday. He has a long way to go to be cured from this type of cancer. They found several masses on his kidneys and spots on his liver. I haven't had a chance to ask Rob for specific prayer request yet, but right now we are just aiming for COMPLETE HEALING!!! We know God is in control of this and we ask that even in this terrifying time, He would be given the glory for what will happen in Bayler's sweet life. We are praying that a miracle would occur and that God would take away ALL the cancer from his little body. I ask that you continue to pray for Rob, Risha, and Bridges (his 3 year old brother). I pray that when the shock wears off, they will be strong for Bayler and continue to believe that God will heal him. Again, thank you so much for your prayers. There are literally people praying from coast to coast and we are thankful for the support. God is good, ALL the time...

Please, PLEASE, PRAY!

We found out today that my sweet, incredible nephew, Bayler, is VERY sick. He has cancer (I feel like I might throw up just typing that here). They are still running tests to find out exactly what kind and what the plan is but I am asking anyone who reads this to pass on his name for prayer. PLEASE! Bayler is 5, just started kindergarten, and has the most amazing heart of any child I know. Please pray for my brother Rob and his wife Risha. We are trusting and believing that God will heal him! I will continue to update any information that will help us pray for them. Please pray!

Wellspring Church Update...

Trey and I just returned from an amazing weekend at Elevation Church. All I can say is WOW! God is doing amazing things there and it was really fun to see how they are reaching so many people. Trey wrote a great post on his blog about what we learned and how it has impacted us as we begin Wellspring. I encourage you to check it out! Today he posted how it has specifically changed him and what we think our next steps are for the church. Read it... it just might change your life as well.

Joy

David has been asking and asking for rain boots...

and the excitement he had today as he ran and jumped through all the puddles was priceless!

Last time Mimi was here, she purchased these boots and David has been waiting for the chance to use them. He had the most amazing time jumping and running through the puddles in our neighborhood.

Mr. Foster, our next door neighbor, even joined in the fun. He is so nice and always comments on how much he likes having David around.

Pure joy!

First Day of 3-K

I am still in shock that David is old enough to be in 3 year kindergarten! He is such a big boy now.

So far David's teachers have reported that he is a leader and the class entertainer (yes, after only 2 days!). He was the special friend today which meant he helped the teacher and lead the line to the playground. He really likes his new school, but still misses his friends from Texas! He is already singing new songs and sharing stories about his day.
This is my attempt at taking a picture of the boys together. Jon-Jon will NEVER sit still and all the pictures were of him crawling away... maybe next year! Jon is also doing well and has yet to cry for his teachers. He has missed his morning nap both days and today when I walked in his room he had just fallen asleep sitting up in the highchair. Hopefully we'll get his schedule straight soon!

*An update on Hanna... I think we are staying put, but we are going to cancel our block party. We don't have school tomorrow because Horry County schools are closed. Looks like we're in for a lot of rain and some wind... now if Ike would just calm down a little!

Full calendar...

Well after spending the summer getting settled into our new town I can now say life is speeding up for the Kelly's. Here is a few things that are happening in our little family this week...

We have our first official Wellspring event tonight. Go to Trey's blog to find out the details if you're interested in attending or want to know how to pray.

We had orientation at school today and the first real day is tomorrow!

I had an AWESOME God moment today during orientation. I'll share the details later.

We are praying that Hanna doesn't hit us!

And our neighborhood party is this Saturday.

Throw in well-checks for both kids at a new pediatrican's office, haircuts, and a Carolina game on Thursday night... I'm already asking the Lord for strength when I look at that list! I'm off to clean my house...

"Super Man-David!"

I'm not really sure David even knows what super heroes do or if he's ever watched a cartoon of Super Man or Spider Man, however he is a victim of great advertising in stores and through toys. He LOVES to run through the house screaming "I'm Super Man David!" and pretending to fly. I consider it a true mark of no longer having a toddler... he is getting to be such a big boy!

I want to do a much longer post and a little Q & A with David soon. I don't think I can accurately describe or portray the amount of personality this kid has! The good part about that is his good days are most excellent and super fun, however his bad, whiny, awful days could go down in the record books!

Here is Super Man David "rescuing' his baby brother. They are already very rough with one another, even though I stand by them pleading to "be gentle" and "treat him with kindness". I have 2 of those "all boy" kind of boys :)! By the way, I have a feeling Jon-Jon will be a great match for his big brother soon!
